Repeating Patterns

Today we learnt how to make a repeating pattern. We were very fascinated by this and couldn't wait to work with our friends to give it a go. We independently chose a group to work with and used excellent collaboration skills to be able to follow a repeating pattern and then continue it. Great work FS2!

These are just a few examples...

Our Ducklings

Today our ducklings hatched. How exciting! We have been waiting a very long time for this day. One of them has been named Tiddles and the other one still hasn't got a name yet. They are so lovely, soft cute and fluffy and we all got to have a hold of them. We are so excited for the others to hatch.

They are enjoying being in their new home.

Sunny Thursday's

We have really enjoyed the sunshine this afternoon and we all went outside. There were lots of activities and games going on and we decided to use the sunshine to inspire us to create some summery paintings using our hands.

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Today the Mad Hatter left us an invite to join his tea party. We had to solve problems including halving and sharing so we could make sure we each had enough cake for our party. We worked so hard to collaborate and solve problems. We then had a go making our own cakes with play dough and halved them.

Alice in Wonderland

Today's challenge was from Alice. We have loved beginning to learnt the story of Alice in Wonderland. We had a go at making our very own exciting potions and gave them some very funky names.

Story Board

Today we were introduced to our first story board. We went through the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and though out about what happened at the beginning, middle and end. We talked with our friends to discuss what happens and then drew pictures to represent the story.
We were absolutely amazing at this and showed such a mature attitude to our learning.
