Self Portraits

Today we were introduced to a rubric. We soaked in so much information about how we can use a rubric to self assess our work throughout the school. Together we thought about all the features we would need to include to create a self portrait and those extra special features to make our work amazing. 

Using mirrors to help us, we thought about the different colours we need to represent our skin, eyes and hair and we discussed how we all look different and no one is the same. 

Lots of us independently chose to create our self portraits by chalking outside or drawing. We were amazing and kept looking at the rubric to ensure we had lots of important features.
