Today we received a video from the big, bad wolf explaining that his job with the three pigs is done and now he is planning on blowing our houses down. He said the only way he wouldn't is if we could make representations of the house we live in.
We absolutely LOVED the video and we were also introduced to our rainbow challenges. Then we did a rubric to help us to understand exactly what our house needs and we understood that every house is different. We independently went away and in small groups used the rubric to help to support our challenges.
We each created an amazing yet completely different house. To extend ourselves further, some of us were even asking a grown up for their own copy of the rubric just so that we could self assess our houses.
